Wow, this place is amazing, totally worth stopping in to get some sourdough and sweets. The ladies here are extremely helpful and are truly expert bakers to say the least. We tried a couple different sourdoughs and a few different types cookies and the banana bread, and it was all amazing. I ended up buying more than I could eat , so I froze it and packed it in my luggage and brought it back to Colorado with me:)

This bakery really IS swoon worthy! They have the most delicious cookies and breads! I bought two loaves of sourdough and a few of the sourdough cookies! They were absolutely delicious! I was even able to purchase a bit of their starter! The starter has been so freaking great! I live quite a ways away from them, so this has allowed me to get into my "sourdough era" and start making breads, scones and muffins! Their starter is really really nice! Everyone who works there is almost as sweet as the cookies they sell, they're helpful and really nice to talk to. I didn't get a photo of the breads I bought, so I'll include a photo of my very first sourdough bread I ever made!

We made an hours drive to Luling for some BBQ but the highlight of our trip was discovering Swoonworthy Sourdough Artisan Bakery. We purchased one sourdough loaf, one loaf of sourdough with garlic and rosemary, and two fudge brownies with nuts. The loaves are lovely and everything was delicious! The owner shared her excitement over her bread oven from Italy. Well worth the drive!
